gerrythepoet Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Without defending my poem - since it has nothing to do with Thais in general but the Red shirts and Yingluck. Here is a published 2008 poem. The Hole in One Dreams are the footsteps that waken the mind As the Heart falls asleep How is it that all is made clear while the eyes drift? Is it by chance or by design? Creation was made not just an idea A fruit born within our souls keeping love as it’s first light Magic plays a tune so silent so smooth a drifting mood Kept in time for all time Love is a drop so soft is it’s touch giving life to tears Brought by joy from a land of passer by’s Stories told held in a cup Friendship played on a course Forgotten land How I love your whispering wind Singing tunes to no one Sole to me Scotland, I praise thee my heart rests in Siam A noble land of heartfelt thanks One day I shall swing the iron A tear dropped in a Hole in One Written 29th July 2008 In memory of his glass.
