Girl Fails To Do Trick On Motorbike With Toy Poodle

I was stationary on Pattaya Klang, waiting to turn right into Carrefour.

A girl on a motorbike, emerged from the Soi opposite Carrefour, and proceeded to turn right in front of me to head up to Sukhumvit.

I had to blink twice, because standing behind her was a toy poodle. No leash, no straps or restraints of any kind, just the dog on all fours, balancing the rear seat.

I nudged the wife: "look at that clever little dog"

The girl completed her right turn manouvre.

The poodle went flying.

Traffic coming out of Carrefour screeched to halt. There was almost a multi pile up.

The girl stopped, and got off the bike in the middle of the road. Walked over to the side of the road, where the dog was lying on its side. Dusted it down, walked back to the bike, put the dog back on the rear seat, and drove off.

Do you think she was trying to get rid of it?

We used to smile when we saw the dog in the basket on the front of the bike but expecting a pooch to balance on the seat...especially when all the lights are flashing amber at the same time as they do at carrefour is a trick too many even for a Thai poodle ....Maybe he wasn`t hers and he was just hitching a ride.

I saw one yesterday in BKK... with its 2 hind legs perched on the front of the seat, and its two front legs on the dash where the speedo, etc is
