It's a terrible internet week in Thailand. Looks bad with most local ISP's according to traffic reports

A god tip is to check your DNS settings (and flush DNS cache)

To flush DNS cache in Microsoft Windows (Win 7, Win XP, Win ME, Win 2000 etc)

- Start -> Run -> type cmd
- in command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns
- Done! You Windows DNS cache has just been flushed.

Tip: Maybe change to Google DNS or OpenDNS instead of using ISP default settings.

I already use open DNS and cleared everything - tried other PC's even other towers. Is this failure a reason my true inet899 package which should be getting 128k after 3G is gone will only run 40k after last Saturday - it was 128k on Friday then bang it has been in the worthless dumps. Tomorrow I was going into the office to find out because they never answer the messages I have sent. (no I won't pay for topping 1GB@350baht) I should be getting 128K until the next cycle. I can live with that as I never got more then that from IpStar in the past. I am going to have to go back to dtac or something, but it sounds more like I am going to be getting 40k anyway. I this another CAT failure? Have noticed pings up to 360 to bangkok server over true aircard for a week now.

It was really bad in CM, worse than usual during the past 4 days, but I had thought that was again the ISP's doing.

Mostly it is not being able to download web pages from U.S. servers news media sources and blogs run by major news orgs.

Or not being able to connect to U.S. servers such as web mailservers and cloud-based fax servers, also in the U.S..

Nice to know I am not the only one.

Bumping this. I just moved here. We're on a 10Mb connection and it constantly goes up and down. One minute I'll be surfing fine and the next no pages will open. Downloading via utorrent is the same - one minute I get fast download speeds and then it will suddenly drop to 1.0 kb/s. Is everyone in this same boat? Called 3BB today and they said that they'd drop by tomorrow but I'm not optimistic.
