Upgrading, selling a Canon EOS 400 if anyone's interested

Featured Replies

Hi. Decided to upgrade and will sell my EOS 400 for a low price if anyone wants it. I'm aware the model has been upgraded a number of times so I'm not asking much for it 5k is the bare minimum I could accept for it otherwise there's no point in selling it. I have a vertex tripod that I also no longer need as I am purchasing a monopod. It cost me 3200 baht but I could let it go for much less than that if its bought with the camera. The condition of the camera is very good, there's a slight scratch where its say ON/Off, other than that its perfect. I would sell it with the 18-55 that came with it.

I can't fit two cameras in my bag so I'd rather let it go to someone that will get use out of it. I still have the charger. Anyway, if you want it you must pm me. I will be going up north for a while next weekend, so let me know before then

thanks

I should add I'm in bangkok

Yeah, it's about 6-7 years olf but the bottom line is that even the EOS 350 before it was a decent SLR. Mine certainly is. Ideal for a first SLR for someone starting out.

It's a good camera and has been well looked after.

Actually, I was thinking along the lines of good for someones kids or wife, give her something to play with when you drag her around and getting her up at 4am for a drive for first light !!!

I am not interested by the way, but thought it worth while to link to a good description. It will be a good buy for someone.

You should note though that the battery may want a back up with a spare or replaced, just the age of it, but one should have 2 batteries anyway. It is bound to make someone extremely happy.

Yeah, though the battery has always been fine. I can squeeze 600 shots on it if I don't play around with the review screen and leave the camera on. Battery has always been sound, its more like bad habits and power consumptive live-view screens that drain it.
