Agreed. Nice video. Not quite a "typical day", but then again the thread title just says "a day in a life". They just happened to pick Mother's Day.

They need a "Love" button on YouTube not just a "Like" button. Be proud of that video! Absolutely fantastic job. This is exactly what I see when I live there and don't have to be overseas working.

It is a boring place to many a foreigner and certainly not for the average sex-pat or the bulk of tourists but for others it is heaven just to be near the lush green fields watching the dark afternoon clouds come swiftly over the fields and release their cool rains to soften the ground for the ploughs and buffalo to work their magic.

For me, I love to be there and just listen to the rice grow!

Yes i'm sure many people would relate to your film, you show what most of us think, great stuff,, so i was at the Thai embassy here in Lisbon, Portugal to get a new tourist visa for Thailand, when i got there the lady who does the visa was off sick,, another 3 hour train ride back to my town, while i was there i waited to cool down as the temperature outside was 35* C, really hot if you are walking around,, and the receptionist lady (a Portuguese resident) asked me "why do you like living in Thailand" i should send her your video because words can't explain it,, well done.

Great video....the real Thailand.... I remember those distant times of checking out all the Pattaya type links but after time spent in the 'real' Thailand areas those days are history and that T Shirt is packed away..... why walk down a condom and needle ridden Pattaya beach getting harassed by jet ski scammers and freelancers when you can relax in the laid back world of a small village with a cheap bottle of Hong Thong and some Soda Water.....hmmmmmm Only 99 days until I fly back to spend 3 weeks in my Thai house close to Korat.....
