Ducati 848 Streetfighter

Has anyone actually bought one of this and if so could you share your thoughts.

I've read a few reviews and as per usual they are contradicting. I'm actually considering buying one price be damned.

Beautiful looking bike, don't know anyone with one but reviews I've read have been positive, MCN did a very good review on youtube and think I remember reading a review on gtrider too from a guy in BKK that bought one. The traction control is a bonus but no ABS, you could buy two Kawasaki Z800's but obviously they're not Ducati!

A friend has the 'S' (with the 1098 engine) in the US- he can't keep the front wheel down (annoyingly so- it's actually a bit of a problem as it comes up when you really don't want it to)- I would think the 848 has the perfect engine for the Streetfighter package.
