Medical certificate to prove i can fly needed (bangkok)

Featured Replies

Hi

I was taken off a flight recently in Bangkok as i was sick on-board

I had high blood pressure and pains

I am informed by airline that i need a doctors certificate to prove i am ok to fly.

Where can i get such a certificate in Bangkok quickly? It has to come from a hospital not a clinic

You must have been seeing a doctor for your conditions, go back to him, so he can work out a way to get you in a flying condition.

I'd be more concerned about getting well than flying.

Any doctor can certify "fitness to fly"

Some airlines have a specific pro forma they require completing.

Yes, get the required from from the airlines first as each have their own.

Doctor at any hospital can complete it but whether they will be willing to do so is another matter and depends on your condition. You will do best seen by a doctor who knows you/has treated your condition in the past.

As others have mentioned, priority should be getting your BP under control...and identifying the cause of the "pains". If these were chest pains, then some diagnostic work may be in order. No doctor is going to just sign off without first being sure you really are safe to fly. And believe me, mid-air is not a god place to have a heart attack or stroke.
