Potting soil

Featured Replies

I am looking for a good Pre bagged potting soil to use on mostly indoor plants, i would like to get with absorbent pellets to save on watering , or any mix you have found of products you can buy that you feel works best.

Thanks in advance

I think most of us that are 'fussy' fabricate our own. I haven't perfected the art, so no recipes from me I'm afraid.

We brought a Compost Tumbler with us when we returned from Australia.

Don't know if GLOBAL has them, haven't seen any at HomePro but might be worth investigating.

if you want to make your own potting mix , google ' John Innes' . The john Innes institute was the first to scientifically research potting media ( in the 1930's if i remember rightly) and you can tailor your mix to your needs. It will also help making a good choice for premix potting mixes if you understand the theory that he developed.

I can supply you with a non-soil blend. Where are you located and what quantity are you after?
