I 1st went to Bangkok 42 years ago.I didn't see much of this. I stayed mostly downtown.

Got to admit, I missed all that when I was there 47yrs ago.

I lived in the rough outskirts of the Din Daeng area in the fall of 68. Didn't go downtown unless it was necessary, as Bangkok was already crowded and overgrown.
