It was amazing to have my friend stay with me in AU. He treated me very well, helped wash the car, cooked, cleaned, did washing and ironing. His Thai cooking was spectacular!!! No one has EVER been this good to me in my entire life! Except for my mom......but she could not cook Thai and did not sleep with me....there's a difference.....Occasionally he was moody and seemed unhappy.....he refused to tell me why, as they do.... cultural shock? Homesickness? BoredomAnd don't say I did not do anything for him..I took him everywhere on trips and city visits and tourist attractions etc....I will remember forever the great experience of having him with me in AU!So the next step is which visa to apply for next? We WILL remain together!Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Nice to hear, but I wonder what that has got to do with the visa section

Why don't you, instead, post in the appropriate forum in order to continue the conversation without polluting your initial post and the outcome of the visa application ( no offence meant )?

Also, I find a bit cocky your post about how you obtained the visa in three days and give a (partly) sound advice.....coming from a (initially quite worried) first timer

I was "cocky" about the 3 day Visa grant because most of the people responding to my original post called me names like "troll" and said it was "impossible" etc etc.....I was just pleased about the outcome.....I thought it would be harder. Does this make sense? I wanted to tell people this so others in the same boat can be more confident about an outcome, provided they do EVERYTHING required in the checklist....

A lot of people said it would be hard to get a tourist visa for your boyfriend after knowing him

for 3 months so they were valid points.

By the time you used an agent it was nearly 6 months so there is a big difference.

In all likelihood, you would've probably (with or without an agent) not gotten a tourist visa

for him if you applied in September which was the date of your first question.

Polluting?!? ermm.gif

Gay people are everywhere and we don't segregate ourselves in life and it also doesn't mean references to gay life can't or shouldn't be part of any and all forums here. There's a woman's forum here. Should the ladies never mention anything about their lives outside of there?

Barking at the wrong tree, Jingthing.

Polluting...as in deviating from the subject

Why are you referring to "gay" ? My post is about sticking to the matter.

Either I have badly written my thoughts or you have misunderstood.

As I said .....it is a visa forum and it is already difficult enough to understand the rules

No, your thought were well written.

It's just that if anything is said about a gay person that Jingthing disagree's with,

he rolls out his familiar gay bashing or homophobic accusations. But that seems to

be allowed. Say something the other way and see how long it lasts before being deleted.

I agree, enough already.

About the definition of pollute / polluting though -- it is definitely not deviating.

Hahaha what a deviation this thread has taken! How fortuitous...

Sad to hear lovethaiguy that your thai guy has gone home after such a short stay. Did he receive a 12 month multiple entry visa or was it a solitary Single entry 3 month stay visa?

Try not to get me confused with khun simple1 either, he's a much more hansum man than I ;)

The Mods will have a fun time clearing up the mess Jingthing created! Just glad lovethaiguy's partner isn't a Baht Bus Driver, we'd never hear the end of it! :P

lovethaiguy as far as your next visa goes, you're probably best off sticking to the Tourist Visa, get a few more runs on the board with DIAC as I think you also fail to tick the box for "living together for more than 6 months" in order to obtain the "Partner Visa"

But, what if you pre purchased Business Class tickets? Show's you mean business then.biggrin.png

Similar priority consideration given should you purchase First Class tickets, means you're number one in the pecking order ;)

I think the OP was hoping for multiple entries.
