These two topics are so close, so I will just make one thread.

1: To the common person there are three elements of concern in a movie. Script, acting or actor, and set/effects. Most movies might be strong in one area but not in another. Even so, they do well.

I am thinking of this because yesterday I am eating lunch and watching Conan The Destroyer. This movie sucks, but I love it. Jackie Chan movies have bad scripts and acting yet how much fun are they?

So, what elements of a movies must you have strong the films you like? What elements can you live without?

2: This is easy. What movies need to be made?

A script has been approved and soon the fourth Indiana Jones movie will be upon us. About time I say. What about a new Conan? with all the improvements in effects and stunts it could be very good. Maybe the Rock could be Conan?

Well, now it's your turn. Tell me what you think.
