What's the best internet option here?

Hi all. I have moved into a new apartment. I doesn't offer any internet service and the owner said he has not plans to introduce one as its only a small complex. I have only signed a 3 month contract so I don't want to have a cable installed with true and opt for a longer term option.

What would be the best thing to do? I'm curious to know if dongles are used here and if so how much a month it is. I would be interested in using it around bangkok. Are there better short-term options?

If you have a smartphone, configure it as a portable hotspot and connect your laptop / desktop to it.

No smart phone and need to use video calling options, so that won't really work.

I am told that DTAC have an aircard called speedy. 7.2mps, which uses a dongle, that might work.
