She's Forgiven ... but it's not Forgotten

Your Thai Lady has done you wrong.

But she's the best thing (person) you ever met ... seriously.

Do you forget Her and move on?

or ...

Take it in your stride and Forgive and Forget?

It hasn't happened to me for many a year (in Thailand) ... but the coals still burn.

Maybe I'm an Elephant ... I never Forget ... dry.png

I take it that this some past love of yours David.

Life's road can tiresome to walk sometimes, why walk with extra weight in your back pack.

Move on,put it down to experience.......... thumbsup.gif

Also, I go with what I use as my footer...If a man dwells on the past, then he robs the present. But if a man ignores the past, he may rob the future.

You cannot move forward if you keep looking backward.

Learn from experience, anyone can make a mistake, as they saying goes, "a man that cant make a mistake cant do anything" if you dont learn from the mistake then thats the tradgedy!

In my book, if you cant forget it you havnt truly forgiven it.

Don't blame her for walking away,

There was nothing on offer to make her stay,

You played with her and hurt her pride,

She wanted much more than just a ride,

She knew your game, right from the start,

Money alone can't win her heart,

Honesty and love are so much better,

An unfaithful man will never get her,

You rolled the dice and took a chance,

You lost the game and all romance,

You never thought that your heart could crack,

She walked away and she'll never come back.

Please forgive me ... I've ran out of likes for the day.

I hope you've forgiven me ... but I've not forgotten ... will return tomorrow with a fistfull.

'The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.' Mahatma Gandhi

I prefer this one (particularly if she's been screwin' behind your back):

'Forgive all who have offended you, not for them, but for yourself.' Harriet Nelson

I know this goes against many teachings and philosophies, but I can never forgive unless the offender is sorry and apologizes. If the offender ignores it and continues with life as if he did no wrong...

Wow, so true. However it takes a wise person though make an allowance for the others ignorance to say sorry. When the other has truly hurt YOU, to forgive but not forget is easy to say but deep down the others outspoken awareness of your hurt is needed to make forgiveness complete.
