Drinking Standard "Mineral" Water is worse than you think

Featured Replies

just recently, 7/11 has added a "Mineral" Water with some dietary Minerals...

what made me thinking:

what the Standard "Mineral" Qater here in Thailand has done to my Body?

it has withdrawn These dietary Minerals from my Body, due to the natural

disolving Power of These Minerals in Water ...

( sorry, english is not my mother language - maybe my use of words are not appropriate )

what do you People think about this?

The variable minerals found in water (whether labelled as "mineral water" or other) will not harm a person with normal kidney function.

And the average person gets the minerals they need from food, making the mineral content of water (assuming nothing toxic) relatively unimportant.

For best drinking water take the taste test at room temperature, most all cold water talstes fine, but i can tell big differences at room temp.

I avoid any and all mineral waters!

And go for the very clean and processed three way types; reverse osmosis, filtration and uv?

I'm not too sure about this.

Can this be accurate. Would the water companies not have strict controls and quality guidelines to follow?

I only really drink water (I am a cheap Scotsman) so hopefully there are no negative effects.

What exactly would the negative effects be? And how serious would they affect you?

In fact I have read the opposite that drinking distilled water leaches minerals from the body but i will take my chances.

Most of the mineral water i see in Thailand most likely has 'minerals' added, i doubt it is mountain fresh spring water.

On a similar note some companies got busted (in the west) for bottling tap water!!!!
