Thank you Sunshine51.....hoping you guys like the pictures.

We'r still in Bangkok, after floating market tour, now we are going to walk along Chao Praya River, a nice place and walk through good old Bangkok. Or if u love to ride a bike for sight seeing, u easily find one, but be carefully , traffic is suck......best way is walking. Walking near Banglampoo, not far from Khao Sarn, this is good old Bangkok, I used to walked and shop as I was a kid, we learned how to ride bicycle and played kite at Pramain Ground , but no more nowaday....

Banglampoo is not easy to find WC....if you guys need urgently....2 places can be possible. Walk to Viengtai Hotel, khaosan road, a good old thai hotel, wc is ok there, maybe you have to pay 5 Bt. Great for Viengtai hotel is lunch menu, try good old thai traditional food there, great thai food. They serve international food too, reasonable price, many local people like to eat there too.(my own experiences).

Another place for urgently moment is a shop on Banglumpoo...called "Tang Hua Seng".....go upstair on 2 floor and ask for WC, wc is ok, free of charge.

Do you know this fruit ? Skin looks like snake, but tastful and refresh.

We call RAGUM fruit, from a Palm family (Salacca wallichiana) during May to June plenty to buy. Good fruit from Trad, Chantaburi and Rayong Provinces. We also have similar fruit to Ragum , but call Sala fruit ....more sweet and cost more than Ragum. Both are my favarite fruit too.

We can work around this, Kathy.

After all, you are the topic leader and you haven't mentioned which lense in topic title. MJP as got a lot of lenses, too much! You just told us you would like others to share their pictures with you.

You can decide to start a new topic or continue here with that change. Do not forget you have gained the support of good people here.

Your choice.

Welcomewai.gif.

Yours,

Don't even go there, I have to land at Heathrow mid-February! I don't even have a coat and only pad around in a pair of Crocs here in Roi-Et. I've used all my socks for window cleaning.

Through the lens with Kathy. I just would like to share the pictures through Kathy's thai eyes.

I'm using mostly Nikon D60, my good old camera. Sometimes too heavy to carry, then I shall shot with Cannon camcorder which the quality is not like NK but for video film is excellent. Sometimes taking pics with Olympus, but I am not a fan of this, due to the lens. I only like taking pictures but can not describe more about technic...still having Nikon EOS with film camera, sorry not using for many years, but I like to keep all my cameras, still having my first one at home Cannon F1 facepalm.gifgiggle.gif

I keep giving my old cameras away. The last K-5 with a Tamron 17-50 went to Leigh Anne. My LX5 went to Tom (who can bloody well afford a Leica M). My Thai sister has taken to my K-5 IIs!

I don't mind giving the old bodies away but I struggle to part with good glass.

I'm always using the same old camera, dont think much of the lenses, 20 years ago I was more eager to try this and that and tried color filter etc...nowaday, it's all easy with digital and it makes you lazy to think ...just click click.....

I have focus what I like to take....I dont take 100 pictures at a time (anymore) I just shot what I like to shoot. For example, today I went for a walk, I like to make colorful of forest and leaves and of course animal, so I took may be 20 pics a time, and that's all ...biggrin.png

Next time, only flowers, the other time Landscape or zoom small or little insect etc....too lazy to shoot lately...blink.png

For me the most difficult taking pictures is sport with movement pictures, I do love to freeze the pictures but I still dont have much apportunity or chance to do ...anybody teach me pls. Night scene is also not easy, waterfall freezing also not easy, never try ....and food picture...is also not easy. sad.png

Your profile picture reminded me my niece ( much elder than me), as I was a kid she used Yashica looked like your profile picture, with great black and white picture, we had great bw pictures as we were kids. Great camera.
