Any update on Tony and Yummy Pizza?

Is it sold and is he re-opening across the street??

Not as far as I know. We had our usual truly excellent lunch there today, Tony was in good form and clearing weeds from the car park in a large hat wielding a metal hoe.

No.

There was no plan for a Sale.

Tony was after finding a Partner to help relive his workload.

I do not know the name of the company with whom Tony advertised but they would not do a Advert for a Partner only for a Sale of business.

Tony is grafting like mad on his latest project, gives me a sweat just watching.

Expansion is Tony's way. I think he is or will be happy in time, with his Creation.

Without getting involved in the can of worms surrounding Dukes/ Promenada, just wanted to say that for those people who consider Dukes too expensive (based on reading the other thread) Yummy Pizza is an excellent alternative venue with really good quality food at a great price, including (in my view) really good Pizzas.

By the way I m not in any way launching a "Yummy v Dukes" debate, each place stands on its reputation, and, to be clear, I have no vested interest, just a very satisfied customer of Yummy on many many occasions.

I heard Tony has sold Yummy to Dave. It'll be a new Duke's branch. But Tony has taken over Mr Chan&Miss Pauline across the road and will be stealing all the customers from the new Duke's (former Yummy Pizza by then) with his live music. In the mean time Promenada has attracted The Pun Pun to open a new branch next to the new Thaivisa Assist office planned to open opposite the pitch dark Rimping in there. Hope they all will have enough parking space and that the prices won't go up. By the way, where can I buy a good Wagyu steak and does somebody here know how to cook it properly?

What I really mean is : Go Tony! Your food is delicious!
