moving photos to an a4 sheet

Featured Replies

I know this is the wrong forum but I live in CM and have always found you all very helpful.

I want to move (drag?) some photos to the top of an a4 word sheet so I can put some text underneath.

As it has been chucking it down with rain for the last few days I am hoping one of you will be bored enough to help me, needless to say I am not very computer literate.

My husband is no better than I am with the pc.

Thanks in advance.

Do you know what program the photo opens in when you open it? The name of the program should be in the bar across the top of the screen.

They are in Picasa 3

Thanks

OK, I don't use Picasa, so can't tell you the first bit.

In Picasa, you need to copy the image - sometimes you can right click the mouse and select 'copy'. Otherwise try to find something that says 'copy image' or similar in the menus at the top.

Open Word.

Right click - select 'Paste'.

The image will probably be too big. Left click on the image and use the bottom left corner tag on the image to reduce the size (move it up and right) until it is the size you want.

If you are having trouble getting the image to sit in the place you want it on the page, right click on it and choose 'Text Wrapping' and select 'Behind text'. It might be an idea to get your text in place before doing this though.
