Just remembered they have some kind of 400cc max license rule there ( I think )

It's just a sleeved Ninja 650. Same heavy bike just with less power. Nothing to see here. It'sbeen around for a while actually. Sold in Canada a while back. (The previous model of this bike anyway)

And their is no restrictions in Japan, The Ninja 650 is a 400 there because Japan requires a special license for motorcycles over 400cc.

I had forgotten how much those stock bars look like ape hangers. I like the new paint though.

Yup, Japanese license friendly version of the N650.

Think Ducati also do a 400cc Monster there as well as the CB400 still being available there because of the licensing system.

I doubt there's much weight saved from the original 650, so must be a bit bland.
