One World One Beat Charity Night

Featured Replies

Saturday 6th May will be our first one world one beat charity night in The Blues Factory.

Its an organization that has clubs, bands & venues that come together on one weekend of the year to hold a charity event in the One World One Beat name.

The charities are chosen by the venue or bands themselves.

I have chosen a charity called The Amicus Foundation which is run by a friend of the bar called Matthew Kelly, Matthew is the founder of the US band “KingFish” and he has also recorded/ played with “The Grateful Dead”, T-Bone Walker & Bob Wier to name a few.

The Amicus Foundation aids a wide range of things (see website).

The line up will be the The Blues Machine & Lam Morrison as unfortunately Matthew has to go back to the states on the 5th May so can’t join but all profits from the night will go to the charity.

See you on the night.
