In all my years based over here I have never actually been here for Thanksgiving, always made it back to the States. Are these places usually crowded on Thanksgiving?

I went to Bourbon Street the day after - only waited for a few minutes to get a table. There was always a steady flow of customers coming and going but seemed like nobody really had to wait. I'd recommend waiting til tomorrow if you're concerned about waiting times.

Thanks for the response! Probably check out Bourbon street today as I don't have to work.

Up here in Back of Beyond land no chance of going out for Thanksgiving dinner. Just took my turkey out of the brine, stuffed and ready to go. Mash done and roast potatoes prepped. Time for a few glasses of vino collapso before people start to show up this afternoon
