How unacceptable is it to marry your wifes sister, who is getting on in age, whilst being married to her younger sister?

Ok, understood, but I guess I was thinking along the lines that in Western culture this is not unheard of over the centuries. Actual marriage not really being the core issue, I guess. More of a matter of she's getting on and it's economically doable.

But before you bring it up in conversation at home (not sure how you would do that really), you thought you'd ask on here? Would that be so that you have some 'ammunition' as it were, should your good lady wife be less than enthusiastic about the idea?

Hmmm.....How many kilometres has the old model got on the clock compared to the prospective model?

Has the old model just not been taken care of (you know, routine oil changes, regularly washed and polished, in need of a re-bore etc), or do you just want the feeling of a younger faster model with improved accessories and tighter handling?

Assuming you have sufficient space, you could retain the old model for the odd nostalgic spin around the block. Just throw a dust cover over it and keep the battery charged.
