shops that sell body piercing studs , nose , ear

rings etc .

some of them sell small decorative magnets

You didn't say how small nor how strong you need, but if it's just a couple of VERY VERY powerful magnets, pick up some dead hard drives and perform a magnet-ectomy. There are two high powered magnets inside every regular hard drive, on either side of the base of the read-write arm. After removing the screws that hold the arm down, you can find the magnets on the inside of the arm brackets. You will need pliers, vise-grips, or a bench vise to bend the brackets away from the magnets (did I mention that they are REALLY REALLY powerful?) Don't let small children play with these... If two of them snap together and catch skin, they will rip it open or raise a blood blister...
