Red-shirt bus burnt by angry Bangkok mobs

It was not known if it was the skeleton of a human being or animal as the skeleton was just a back bone part but with no skull and arms.

It could be the democrats long lost spine.

Hahaha! Well pointed out. Both Abhisit and Suthep are well known examples of invertebrates.

Sure, and the ones walking to the military HQ were soldiers dressed as protesters. And Suthep used to sell fish on the local market in his previous life. Go on with your conspiracy theories.....

And I don't like a lot of people for several reasons- do I get to burn their belongings?

No, that would not be very nice, Doc. Which is why a lot of people in Bangkok have a deep resentment for the redshirts. They have long memories regarding terrorists invading their city in 2010, blockading it for months and trying to burn it down when they finally left.

I would not be surprised if they were chased out of Bangkok by the locals, all the way back to their northern and eastern lairs. thumbsup.gif

'Their' city, built on swamp after leaving over Ayutthaya, most high rise property in foreign hands, BTS constructed and managed by Germans, water ways polluted like nowhere else in Thailand. Without the cheerful people from the rural areas, Bangkok would be a dead, silent city with some Hi-So show off people left.

Ask Nattawut, he is the expert on burning....you know, bring your bottles,we will give you gasoline and i will take responsibility. The people have seen how he was punished, with a plush government job. I do not condone this violence, in fact it sickens me, but in order to punish these people it may be necessary to punish a few of the red mob as well. While i am on the subject, maybe they could start with Jatuporn, he guaranteed that if students came to the stadium they would be hurt, no coincidece there i'm sure.

It was Arisman that said the stuff about bringing bottles, not Nattawut. Nattawut said something else along the lines of "If they try to seize power, burn them brothers and sisters. I will take responsibility".

Then they are in the same boat as that spineless creep hiding out in the desert rather than return home to face a string of charges he has racked up. whistling.gif

Aren't these 'protesters' supposed to be the 'educated middle class'?

I do not condone this attack, BUT to answer you fairly, they may be, they can't be much less educated that the passengers, (on average)

More topical than the nonsense in some of the earlier posts is the fact that in the initial report it stated there was a body found on the bus in a badly burnt condition. That was on Sunday, Now is late Monday and whether there is a body on the bus is still to be determined as all that was visible was a spine. Furthermore forensic officers could not get to the area owing to sporadic gunfire.

What a crock of total shit and malfeasance . This type of reporting reflects the character and nature of the media and what the public will blindly accept.

Ummmm

There was a body, badly burnt, found on the bus. It was not determined if it was human at the time as no skull was found. I saw a report earlier but did not follow up on it as I was busy. I assume if you are really interested you might try ... "google"

Sorry that you are having a bad day, but at the time this was all going on there was still fighting happening in the area.

That's what many on this forum have been fooled to believe cheesy.gif

On my side I prefer to call them criminal yellow thugs supporting the Dems in their battle for power... whistling.gif

From the very beginning everybody could understand that street mobs were not the solution. Dialogue was. But Abhisit categorically refused any kind of talks, and Suthep decided to recruit southern farmers to help him become the political star that he always dreamt to be, but miserably failed to become after in each election.

The yellow mobs supporting Suthep are criminals. They shot red shirts inside the stadium, provoke the police, seize buildings, cut electricity, burn busses... They lost all their legitimacy and should be dealt with according to their crimes.

It's funny how some on this forum can still defend criminals who burn busses. Maybe they prefer to stubbornly continue to support the Dems and Suthep, rather than lose face... whistling.gif

I

While not a blanket endorsement of violence ... I assume you would condemn the American Revolution, as well? The issue, in my mind, is the growing disparity of wealth in many countries, Thailand included. While there is now yet another crisis, what is being done to provide greater equity? Why is Taksin, for all his ills, so popular? The perseption is that he did more for the poor than previous politicians.

That's hilarious.cheesy.gif

No doubt the yellows would never result to violence.

Just so we are correct, the protesters are not really from PAD (i.e. yellow shirts). I'm sure some are PAD members, but the vast majority are ordinary citizens fighting a corrupt government. PAD announced early on they would not participate in these protests. Though I think they are now somewhat involved.

Have seen them on the ABC news wearing yellow bandanas, scarves and sashes. I guess these are red shirt spies acting on orders of suthep to help overthrow the government.

Geez these yellow shirts don't even take a <deleted> because that is not pure and innocent. and it stinks because of the food the red shirts grew.

I just saw: hanging!! Skeleton found, no skull.... , not sure if animal or human. Whatever it might be, but seriously....<deleted>???? why would you have anything hanging, what was once alive, in the bus near the toilet?

I guess from your post you support people who have in the pass: Invaded Hospitals, shot and killed army personal, shot and killed civilians, burned down parts of Bangkok, and assorted other crimes.

Yellow is the color of the king and generally worn to show support. Has nothing to do with PAD.

PAD haven't been doing much lately so I suspect you're right that they've seen their chance to tag along. It is possible that yellow shirts are more involved in the violence though.

No point trying to tell chooka that as he/she has no intention of stopping.

So that's a clear message to all companies. Do not do any business with people you suspect of being a red shirt or RS supporter. xw00t.gif.pagespeed.ic.Fk8xTuMtRw.webp

My red shirt which is a La coste will be kept for a long time

I see your hand and raise you with : at least they are still here in Thailand despite being slapped with bogus murder charges in efforts to bribe them into accepting an BS amnesty that would also get them off the charges. They neither crumbled under the pressure nor ran away nor openly tried to bribe the judge ( unlike a certain nancy boy living in Dubai )....So regardless of what else you may think of them they have a billion times the backbone of the fugitive puppet master, at least they stood their ground.

I actually thought Bangkok was Thailand's City and not reserved for a few.

That doesn't give the red shirts the right to burn it down.

more likely the "deep resentment" comes because the bangkok base of the yesllows cannot win elections and so must resort to these protests and occupations, albeit knowing the goverment security forces will not deal as harshly with them as they would the upco0untry rabble a la 2010

I imagine they are desperatly praying for a repeat of 2006 - biggrin.png

Someone should sit you down and talk to you about the facts of life.

The only reason the slimy crook you refer to as "Taksin" threw money at the poor (Government money, meaning belonging to all the people of Thailand) was to buy their support so that he could remain in power to make it easier to rob the country blind.

Have a look at his rap sheet, the dodgy under the table deals he tried to get away with, the way he used his own crooked family to hide funds, shares etc.

I don't give a hoot what the perception is, they are the facts. That cruel and conniving despot has not got an honorable bone in his body. And now people are starting to wake up to what he and his rotten family is up to and they are turning on them, en masse.

Wow, who didn't see this coming ??? clap2.gif
