Can I buy the new Macbook Pro Retina display with English keyboard in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

I am currently in Bangkok and staying for 4 more days. I wanted to buy the new 13 inch Macbook pro as it is cheaper here than buying it from my country. So far I went to two stores (Powerbuy at Central World and iStudio at Pantif ??) and found that the keyboards had Thai and English characters on it. I asked if they have just the English characters keyboard and both staff from both stores said it is only possible if I order online. They bought said that I could find an English keyboard anywhere in Bangkok.

Is this true? If not where could I get one with an English keyboard? Thanks in advance for all your replies.

if you mean a external eglish keyboard .. then yes that is right.

the guys at unlimitmac.com maybe also able to help you on the keyboard issue ..

there is also a small shop in Fortune (rama9 / ratchada) where they do this kind of thing.

but if you mean the notebooks own keyboard, better go for the onine option with 24h shipping,

instead of waste time walking like a zombie trough town finding peoples not really want to help or giving unverified answers leading you to waste even more time.

I bought one.

Best to use the online store, especially if you ever want any warranty work performed.

Buying from Apple "store" in Thailand was not worth the hassle for me... in so many ways.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for some typo mistakes. I meant could not find anywhere. Thanks again.

Only some people are Typo Cops and they love pointing it out...facepalm.gif
