New Zealand Man Assaulted As Gang Of Youths - What Would You Do?

Featured Replies

I actually had a scenario similiar to this one in NYC a while back ('88; I was 17) where I kneed one of 3 shoplifters in the face and he went out like a light in front of about 8 arresting Port Authority cops who I happened to know since I worked in the terminal for some time. If not for this factor, chances are I would've either gotten pulled in as well and even had charges successfully pressed on me. The cops even covered for me. That being said, there's no way I'd seek payback while in a foreign policestation, especially the way the average Thai cop feels about foreigners to begin with. I'm all for payback, but that is a no-win situation. :o

Another yank hero :o

Why did you knee a shoplifter? Are you that much of a jobsworth or did he attack you first?

That's not to say down the road at some point, a sympathetic intermediary couldn't be utilized to ah, let's just say put things right, nuf said

My thoughts exactly Cobra. Maybe just send a couple of heavies to scare the <deleted> out of them - of maybe rought them up a little. Street justice (but not in front of the cops and not by the Farang). If they think you're connected, then all the better.

I used to own a restaurant in London (Thai). Two doors down or so, there was a video shop. This was South London and nearby we had some very rough areas (well all of it really). One night this video shop is turned over by a couple of thugs from a local gang. One of the customers of his shop was, for want of a better word, a gangster. The video shop owner tells the customer the next day off the cuff when the guy comes in to return some videos. Two days later, the two thugs walk in to the shop, appologise and returned all his money and stolen videos. The customer got free videos for life.

Mr. Goran Jurec aged 40 from New Zealand made his way to Pattaya Police Station on Monday Night and informed officers that he had just been assaulted by a gang of young Thai men on the Pratamnak Mountain. (copied from Pattaya City News)

So here's this guy with the front of his shirt covered with blood sitting across the table from the 3 criminals with their heads hung low.....And he's kind of just sitting there calmly with what appears to be a sort of smirk?

Here's the question - If this was you would you jump over that table and start slamming the crap out of them like Roy Jones Jr.? I would police or no police I would for sure get 1-2 of them before the MIB got me off them :o ....How about you??

i guess u need a couple of SLAPS
