PM to visit nine Issan provinces this week

December 16, 2013 6:09 pm
Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinnawatra will visit nine northeastern provinces this week, a Government House source said Monday.

The weeklong trip will start on Tuesday after she chairs a cabinet meeting at the Thai Army Club.

She will go to Surin, Buri Ram, Sisaket, Roi Et, Maha Sarakham, Kalasin, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, and Bueng Kan.

Cool :) I wonder if she'll stop in at some of the district towns along the way, or if she's only going to the provincial capitals. It'd add a bit of excitement to the week if she visited.

Good for you Yingluck stay close to the people they need you.

Just like they need a dose of salts!

Do you think she gives a monkey's chuff? Pressing the flesh at election time, a few tears and handouts works wonders. After the election they won't see her for a few years, win or lose.

She has already started campaigning at the expense of the tax payers. They will win the rice farmers vote again as always. The Peoples Republic Of Esan will reign again.

She would be a wise person to give our village and the surrounding villages a miss here in Surin.. She her brother and the P.T.P. are about as popular as a pork pie in a synagogue and a pork butcher at Mecca.

Certainly there are a number of farmers hereabouts who would welcome the chance to ''press the flesh'' and subsequently feel the fruit and press that too. Said fruit being her and her brothers Adams apples.
