looking for cheap accommodation in udon city for 1 month

Featured Replies

can you recommend a hotel/lodging that is cheap and cheerful with good wifi. dont need aircon .

plan to be there from 26 jan to 24 feb

aiming for less than 200 baht/day for 30 days

hotel i use presently for short trips is 300/day (fan only/no hot water) so will see what deal they can offer...

I wouldn't have any idea that cheap.Topmansion is reasonable. And A great location.I think around 450 baht if I remember.maybe go to bnb.com. But I doubt you'll find something around that price.I imagine there are strictly thai guest houses, but I don't know of any.Go to udonmap and check it out.

If you judge by the daily base you can't reach that level, but monthly starts from 2k for simple rooms.

You might ask Toffee @ Udon RE ([email protected]) as when I was looking for a house she told me that just around the corner she had some rooms for rent starting at 2k or 2.5k if I remember correctly. May be one of them is free...

The rooms are like 3 km outside of the ring road, so you'll need a motorbike.

Bye,

Derk

The local wat. Lot of teachers on the local non work permit payroll just passing threw.

thanks tafia the backpackers r on my list to pop into and check out.

cheers

Yes i would also agree with the backpackers.. Double bed, fan, on suite and a tv.. More than you expect for less that 200baht.. Last time i knew it was 150 baht that was last year, dont think the price would change too much.
