Medical advise

Featured Replies

Hello

I am 46 year old swiss and spend this winter in Thailand and some other countries in the area.

For some weeks now I have pain in the lower back. This is not noting new to my, but it always disapperead after atleast a week. My physical therapist in switzerland cold always fix that quite easily.

As I have planning to go to Myanmar in January, I am a bit worried about this. Thai massange makes it even worse. I am thinking about to go see an physical therapist.

Does anyone know someone in Bangkok how could help me, either in a private praxis or an hospital we good physical therapist.

What I not yet have tried is the massages in Wat Po. Are they used to deal with medical isssues?

thanks

Heinz

Heinz,

Before undergoing any sort of physical therapy or other manipulation (massage etc) it is essential to get the cause of the pain determined.

I suggest you see Dr. Wicharn at the BNH Hospital spine center for evaluation and treatment. If physical therapy is indicaterd/likely to help, he will advise accordingly.
