Festivus comes to Thailand! Happy Festivus 2013 ... semiofficial date December 23

Featured Replies

I am whelmed with the joy of the season of FESTIVUS!

Just thinking about it warms the kibbles of my heart.

Thailand seems to adopt most any and all international holidays that involve a good party time.

Why not FESTIVUS?

Pattaya with all it's preexisting POLES is well positioned to be the Thai HUB of Festivus in Thailand.

Prepare now for the semiofficial Airing Of Grievances (the AOG) on the 23rd.

And don't forget the feats of strength - always fun when conducted around a Festivus gogo pole, and no distracting tinsel!

The sea was rough that day my friends, like an old man eating soup..

It is FESTIVUS Eve in Thailand.

If that's actually a thing.

Which I don't think it is.

But I plan on eating something with a purple color for dinner anyway, just in case.

This post made me laugh and remember the Seinfeld episode and Frank Costanza. As JT says, surely Pattaya must be the ideal place to celebrate this alternative offering of joy and glee.

Bring on the feats of strength and airing of grievances while rejoicing around the chrome pole.

A Festivus for the rest-of-us!!!
