PS3 games are region free and the AUS PS3 will work in Thailand but depending on which PSN account you use you might want to buy games from your PSN region so you can use the DLC for your PSN.

However, if you get a region locked Blu Ray or DVD movie disk then you have to use DVD region 4 and Blu Ray region A. Most Blu Rays and DVDs are region free, especially the ones you buy in Panthip Plaza!
