Any aspiring or published storytellers around these parts? I figure CM is full of painters and musicians, seems likely there are some literary enthusiasts in the mix as well.

I'm not looking to start a club or anything too structured, just meet some like-minded people who might be interested in critiquing each other's work. Frankly, when it comes to writing I'm a notorious procrastinator, and working on deadlines helps a lot.

I majored in literature at university, and am also willing and capable of providing insights and constructive criticisms to any who would be interested.

What say you?

Writers Without Borders. Every Thursday 7 p.m., Round-table readings of works in progress, constructive feedback and informal discussion with English language writers of articles, stories, poetry, books, blogs, columns, theatre and screenplays, fiction, non-fiction or anything in between. It's free, in an air-con room at Why Not! Restaurant just off Nimmanhaeman on Soi 11.

I think these details are still right but I'm sure Google will help you out.

The Writer's Club is run by an old journo and can be found on Walking St. I think they have a special night when writers and journos get together to swap bullsh.t. 141/3 Rachadamnoen Rd.

Thanks Greenside, I'll be sure to check that out.

Also, if anyone reading this would appreciate a more informal setting, feel free to PM me.

You're referring to the Writers' Bar, I believe.

Probably the same place. Tripadvisor refers to it as:

Review of Writers Club & Wine Bar
