Notice that the BBC commentator David Coleman has died at age 87. Brits of a certain era will remember the Wednesday night Sports, the boxing, footy. Of course he did many other stuff too, Olympics, QOS.

I read his obit in the Guardian followed by a whole page of Colemanballs.

"If that ball had gone in it would have been a goal"

"Won -nil". All "Quite remarkable".

If this has been mentioned on TV already, apologies.

Always enjoyed his efforts....and the Colemanballs column in Private Eye was always a good read. Think my favourite wasn't even footie related.
