Spreaders of Conspiracy Theories: Unmasking the Motivations Behind the Lies
The media labels all speculations and allegations which they don't approve of as "conspiracy theory". If you take this at face value you need to stop and think harder. We know about "state run media" but what about "media run state"? -

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
I must admit your unbalanced view of EV sales in the UK did bring a chuckle to my face according to you UK will hit the 22% target where the SMMT states that is likely the industry will miss that target for both new car sales (22%) and Van sales(10%) UK SMMT has recently written a letter to Rachel Reeves MP Chancellor of the Exchequer "So far this year, one in six new car buyers has chosen a ZEV.1 Volumes are up but market share is barely moving. The van transition is even more challenged – with ZEVs accounting for just one in 20 registrations.2 The ZEV mandate demands 22% of every brand’s new car sales and 10% of new van sales be zero emission in 2024. As an industry we will likely miss those targets and a significant number of brands face the prospect of either buying credits from another company or paying swingeing compliance payments. " 1 BEV share of YTD new car market 17.8% - prelim figures 2 BEV share of YTD new LCV market to 3.5T 4.8% - prelim figures https://www.smmt.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/UK-Auto-Open-letter-to-the-Chancellor-ZEV-incentives-call.pdf -

Trump lost the respect of veterans – including me. He's a risk to our democracy.
The would be tin pot dictator that loves dictators is a lying coward that deserves not a single vote. He, his crime family and their enablers deserve to spend the rest of their unnatural lives in GitMo. At best a wanna be dictator, at worst a traitor. He nor any of the MAGA wacko traitors will get my vote. USMC SGT-Vietnam 1966/67 and I'm not the only Vet that would not vote for the deranged sociopath. -

Baht going down!
Exactly right. The US Dollar (USD) Index (DXY) climbed into a fifth consecutive bullish day on Friday, driven higher by better-than-expected US Nonfarm Payrolls figures. Since hitting its lowest point in September, the index has been making higher lows, showing a change in market sentiment in favor of the dollar. If this continues, the DXY could aim for the 103.50-104.00 range, where the 200-day EMA is a major hurdle. https://www.fxstreet.com/news/us-dollar-marks-in-fifth-straight-gain-day-after-nfp-numbers-surge-202410042003 This is allround excellent news as the odds of the Baht going down are therefore higher than average.- 1

I'm a veteran and he doesn't have my vote nor does he have the vote of any of my veteran colleagues. None of us would ever support a lying draft-dodger like DonOld. -

Boris Johnson Suggests Putin Would Have Avoided Invading Ukraine if Trump Were President
He certainly would not have provided assistance to Ukraine (AKA do nothing to oppose Putin’s illegal war of invasion).
