I have a Nikon D3200 but as a long time amature photograher I also have lenses used for normal SLR cameras such as carl zeiss jena and tokina.

just wondering if anyone knows that these lenses can be used with DSLR, probably by using adapter?

Thanks.

Try doing a Google search for your Nik D3200 by typing "lens adaptors" after the model number.

Many old Nikon manual lenses may work with your 3200 if you can set the camera into manual

mode for both focus and body operation. Look in the cameras manual if you still have it or

download it from the net if you don't.

thanks. I followed your advice, now I know that I can use adapters and no need to sell the old lenses. thumbsup.gif

cheers.

Glad I was able to help! Happy New Year!

Just to note, many and depending on what, adaptors have optical glass and the cheap ones will destroy image quality. The optical glass is required to correct for the out of spec registry distance so you can focus to infinity.
