Leg Sciatica,Limping, Imbalance - Recommend a Doctor

Featured Replies

Hi,

The Right side of my body is quite out of balance with the left. Seems like atrophy of muscles and pain, spasm. So when I walk there is pain in right Heel, knee, hip, the hip tends to sink down to brace for the impact, I'm literally limping slightly.

It's difficult to correct in relation to the solidity of the left leg, I can prevent my right hip from sinking down, and try and copy the left leg movements, but the right leg feels like the muscles are always in spasm and not getting the 'off'/relax response.

This has been several years in the making, but I've only recently been able to focus in on what I'm feeling, and what might seem to be the cause. So the limp is slight but ever so aggravating.

  • Right heel causing spasm between 3rd and 4th toes,
  • up into Knee (feels too loose, pain inside front/bottom of knee, like a slightly torn Ligament?),
  • Front and side right Hip,
  • Mid back
  • and neck (CervSpond).

Is Dr, Wichan still good for this or should I see another specialist?

Any ideas on the sort of treatment that is often prescribed for these kind of problems?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Could be spinal stenosis or hip problems causing one leg to shrink slightly resulting in muscles

straining unnaturally or several other things.

As advised, check the spine first.
