I can give you a name but , unfortunately do not have a number for an excellent teacher. Her name is Ni Glinholm. Maybe some spelling errors there. She and her husband (maybe ex now) many many, years ago used to own and operate "The Pub" out on Huay Kaew. Maybe someone reading this has a contact number for her.

Do keep in mind that it has been some years ago and she may no longer be around these parts.

In any event , good luck

I'll recommend "MILS Music School" right in the middle of the old city.

They have two locations; one a store on Proppaklao Rd, just north of Rachadamnern, and the school building with all the classrooms, on a soi behind the Three King's Monument.

I can't attest to the piano teachers as I've never studied with them, but I give very high marks to the guitar teachers! I'll assume that they only hire the best.

Can you give details about the student? My wife is a piano teacher but does not normally teach adults unless they were children when she started teaching them.

Payap has the Music Academy next to the Music College and they teach piano from basic to advanced.

I took lessons at Amadeus Music on the 3rd floor of Kad Suan Kaew. I liked the instructor, Khun Keng (nickname). I haven't taken lessons recently due to a problem with one of my fingers, but I would take him again. I am an older adult student, but I have seen children there too.

There is another music school that is behind the hotel at Kad Suan Kaew called Santi Music School that teaches piano also. A neighbor mentioned that was where she sent her daughter, but that was a few years ago.
