It pi$$es me off when I consider quite how much camera gear costs and quite how far it isn't coming. If you know what I mean?

I guess phones have such a huge user base and sell in the tens of millions that the likes of Apple, Samsung and Nokia have the budgets for technological development.

It's ironic that some of the smaller camera manufacturers like Sony, Olympus, Fujifilm and Pentax are innovating to some degree whilst Nikon and Canon are really falling behind, relying on their brand names to generate sales.
