Has anyone seen these Multi Media Players in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I have already bought two before off Ebay from China, but one took forever to get here (over a month), and the other never arrived. Wondering if anyone has spotted something similar locally. I have found these the best solution for watching downloaded movies via a USB stick on my TV. I've had a look at Lazada but they don't have anything like it.

So far I've found them to be quite overpriced in Thailand compared to what you can actually get from reputable overseas websites.

Me and some friends ordered several different Android TV Box and Android TV Dongle from geekbuying.com and were never disappointed (free shipping, good support and good selection).

The most recent of these devices are actually pretty powerful and can handle easily HD gaming and 1080p movies for about a hundred bucks.

Furthermore, several of those brands (namely Tronsmart and Minix) are well supported by the developper's community which means that even if the manufacturer gave up the support, you'd still get good updates.

The one I pictured costs around $30 and does exactly what I need, I really don't need it to play games or anything other than movies. I get really pissed off buying anything from China, it's so hit and miss. You only have to look at the Chinese sellers feedback on Ebay.

Fortune on all floors has traders selling different types and various prices of players. If you are in BKK try there. Also Pantip as someone already suggested.

At Fortune, from the entrance nearest the MRT exit, take the escalator to the 2nd floor where all the camera shops are grouped. Walk down the mail aisle to where the SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER is on the right. Directly opposite is a shop that sells a wide variety of Multi-Media players and set-ups. I believe the shop name is MEMORY HOUSE but not certain of that.

Thanks for all the help. Looks like I need to take a trip to BKK as I'm in Pattaya.
