webfact Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Caretaker PM Yingluck warns of third party interferenceBy Digital Content BANGKOK, Jan 9 – Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra today expressed concern about possible infiltration by a third party when people take to the streets en masse to paralyse Thailand’s capital Monday. She said the specially-established Centre for the Administration of Peace and Order (CAPO) will set up a war room at the National Police Bureau to closely monitor the situation, ensuring that the authorities will patiently provide full security, avoid clashes and abide by international standards in dealing with protesters.“The public should not feel uneasy if the demonstrations are done without weapons or violence. In case of violence due to uncontrollable causes, we have to find out who instigated it,” she said.Ms Yingluck called on all factions to maintain a peaceful situation and promised that the government will fully carry out its obligations, but “violence is sometimes the work of a third party which is a concern.”She said she did not believe the people are in favour of a coup and welcomed dialogue through a national reform forum.“The answer to a resolution for the country does not rest with me. It’s a matter of how we can cooperate so that Thailand moves forward and protesters are satisfied. I’m ready to cooperate,” she said. (MCOT online news) -- TNA 2014-01-09 1

It has been admitted that the "men in dark clothing" on the roof of the Labour Ministry were actually policemen. A policeman was arrested for carrying a gun and carrying drugs. There was nothing AFAIAA to say that he was high, however. No, they didn't say he was high, but he failed a urine test and he was off duty, so it is likely he was buzzed..that drug is powerfully addictive and gives a six to twelve hour high if the user keeps bumping up. After that they pass out from being overly stimulated, but jags as long as three days straight have been reported. If he wasn't high he had been recently. Unfortunately, no real data about the amount found in his sample, which could be anecdotal evidence about whether he was high, ever shows up inese articles. Detailed facts are hard to come by here in Thailand, which makes the problems here even harder to characterize with any accuracy, and wide open to speculation.

"no doubt" - why do you say that? 2 months into the protests and most of the violence has come from students, police Which is it - "hardcore elements of the yellow shirts" or "a 3rd party will create those conditions." - you're contradicting yourself

If court rulings and failure to pay farmers etc keep up, Puea Thai may just self destruct without help from the army. It's looking good so far. Alas poor Yingluck. 1

Popular Post Scamper Posted January 9, 2014 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2014 If there's one thing that is sure to deflate any sense of confidence in a government, it is when a PM expresses fear and feigns impotence in light of a " third party " - a completely self-serving boogeyman who acts as the perennial scapegoat for all the nasty business that goes on behind the scenes. Everyone has long since tired of such utter nonsense. There are only two parties in this conflict - those who oppose the government and those who support it. Any " third party " is simply a smokescreen for either one of them to decide to act anonymously. Although it must be noted, one particular side has taken it to a fine art. We have already seen the men in black, who have been identified by the chief of police as policemen. Unsurprisingly, he and his candour have been quickly ushered out of the limelight, and a new set of " facts '" that doesn't even acknowledge the men in black's presence has been hastily set up. So we already have a sneak preview of the administration's coming attractions - and where they intend to place blame - and none of it inspires confidence in this administration's ability to deal with anything other than for their apparent specialty - massive projects riddled with graft. 6
les Dennis Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Im assuming that a lot of these protesters would normally be at work on Monday and the following days. So are company's/factories obliged to let their staff have time off to protest or are they having to use them as days off?
chainarong Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 The underhanded Thai trickery at it's most unattractive high, a third party of what or who, there is no need to look far, standing in the back ground waiting to either drum up trouble or just move in, the military, no other party has so much up it's sleeve, no one with so much power.
tom21 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 quote avoid clashes and abide by international standards in dealing with protesters." I thought international standards are to shoot protesters
Clint1965 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 She only has this 'third men' info because her, her brother and CAPO are behind it all anyway. Funny how we no longer hear anything about the 'emergency decree' anymore. Could that be because the army said NO? Considering she is supposed to be their boss, it looks like she is just so used to being a puppet, they shout 'jump'.... she shouts 'how high?' 1
mumjokmok Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 'Third-Party Insurance' An insurance policy purchased for protection against the actions of another party. Third-party insurance is purchased by the insured (first party) from an insurance company (second party) for protection against another party's claims (third party). Second party might be the fourth estate? Sadly for them they can't plead the fifth....
