Six people wounded, three seriously, as Red Shirts and anti-government protesters clash in Phathum Thani with guns, large fireworks

More violence will occur this weekend. It begins.

Here we go.............

Seems it's Nana Market in Rangsit Klong 2. A large market, I was there same time Wednesday, ride past it often. Last night near Nation monument near the RTAF Base close to Zeer there were several trucks and a bunch of seats being set up for a red shirt rally so wouldn't be surprised if there is a connection as the market is no more than 5kms behind Zeer.

Sadly the coming days are going to be like a Newcastle v Sunderland derby match ... but with guns instead of rocks and bottles.

and more than 100 people!!!

(Sorry Sunderland. Couldn't resist that)

PTP's Red Shirt thugs are at it again!

Stay safe on the streets of Bangkok this weekend and next week guys, this event will look like foreplay compaired to whats coming... lets hope that the 'powers that be' see sense and do something before the bodies start piling up.

Nobody wants this, it can not end well. Yingluck will not step down for the good of the country, Suthep won't stop, and the army is holding them both responsible for the violence, even more troubled times ahead.

What do expect from a bunch of <deleted>...guns...whiskey...ya ba.....more coming??..I hope not!

Errrrr the OP clearly states the red shirts were fired AT !!

BOTH sides needs to step back from the brink - violence plays right into the hands of the powers that be.

I tend to think that there are more than just 27 guns in the hands of pro, anti and 3rd hand protesters. There are guns all over Thailand.

Quiet obvious these idiots are out to cause trouble, the protest has moved on to civil disorder, whatever the Military/Police plans to do with these sort of people, they only have themselves to blame.bah.gif

Now you know where some of those missing weapons are.

That appears to be an extremely well thought-out assumption, based on what -- and seems to confirm that you know jack-sh1t about Thailand and the availability of firearms.

Have charges been laid against YK yet ?......didnt the army state catagorically that she was responsible if violence occurred ?

violence has occured....

waiting for a bit more information than just 'reds vs. PDRC', 'guns' and 'pingpong diplomacy'.

Now you know where some of those missing weapons are.
