What is the Statute of Limitations on claim for unpaid wages?

Featured Replies

What is the Statute of Limitations on claim for unpaid wages? There was an employment agreement.

there are none specified, but typically if one hasn't lodged a claim with either the company or made a complaint with the DOL, its customary to say 3 months after fact, as any later than that all parties would assume the employee is not interested

I think it is one year or thereabouts jusdging on previous posts about negotiating with employers and having one year in which to claim.

I sure therein a labour law and since you have contract you can very well take them to courts you want.

You could always lodge a complaint with the Thai ombudsman.

The who ?

We don't know exactly the statute but for sure you can complain to the DOL as advised above. But the problem is

how long will it take for the complain to be solved. That is the next problem.
