Going past the Kata Viewpoint toward Nai Harn just noticed a sign on the road that leads down the hill toward Sabai Corner "Heaven Club and Hotel".

O.K........buzzed down the hill and where it curves left, new driveway and lo and behold, hotel and club going in pretty much completed.

Looks like our Eastern European friends have themselves some dodgy title that's for sure!

Views are impressive, check it out.

Yes, Russian owners, and the completed rooms are very spacious and excellent quality (I don't think that it will actually open until next (2015) year though.

There is only one level (out of maybe 3 or 4) of rooms completed, and the rest of the infrastructure (pool, restaurant etc) hasn't been started yet. No, not a shareholder, but I did visit there with my wife who supplied them with a lot of plants just before Christmas, and the owner showed us around. Room rates will be circa 3500 baht/night.

Well it will be great to see something new down there but Sabai corner has gone down hill. IMHO it will close just like all the rest of the new businesses.

Build more and they will not come..... Thanks for your Russian money.

The restaurant and bar is open. I stopped up there tonight with a group of friends for sundowners. Really gorgeous views and a spacious restaurant. Cocktails start at 300THB and a small bottle of local beers 150THB. Had a look at the menu and the cheapest starter was 400THB. Currently running no food or happy hour specials.
