Chinese new year coming up, feel like some Chinese food but never had any here

any tips?

I have yet to find any that don't sell shark fin soup, so no. No good ones I know of.

When the Russian Restaurant in Karon (Veranda) opened, they offered turtle soup... I just missed to take a picture of the sign, it was even in english.

A couple of years ago, I ventured into Phuket Town during Chinese New Year. There was a very healthy selection of performances by Chinese dancers/acrobats etc, and very good street food (doubt that it would be called 'Chinese' however). I suspect that there will be similar this year.

You probably know more than anyone Steve, that there aren't any Chinese restaurants in Rawai/Chalong (excepting of course the Russian owned Chinese buffet place at Fisherman's Way).
