Chiang Mai Doctor help

Featured Replies

Hey Guys, New to this site, from canada! super stoked to be here! Just had a few questions wondering if someone can give me a hand

I have read a lot of good things about Dr Siri, but tried to contact him via phone & e-mail, so far couldn't get a hold of him.

Does anyone know how, of if I can make an appointment with him, or what his updated phone number is

or any other recommendations for other doctors with there full contact info!

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

Happy to be apart of the site

He's too busy to answer email, don't bother with it. His number is on the pinned list. Has not changed in many years. You need to call after 17:00, no one there during the day to answer the phone. But just turn up around 17:30 at his clinic and take a queue card as I don't think you can get an appointment. First come, first serve. He was away for a while but I believe he is back now. Excellent doctor.

Right on, Thanks for the reply, I read somewhere you can make appointments, but I will try the number again tomorrow, and if not, I will just show up. Thanks again.

And join the throngs of spotty teenage girls waiting to see him. biggrin.png

Joking aside he comes highly recommended - good choice.

Dr Morgan in Hang Dong rd was also recommended on this site, and I've been seeing her for the past 18months.

She speaks excellent English, and you can make daytime appointments to see her.

Her offices are just past TESCO supermarket on the way out of town, but on the opposite side.

I have been seeing her for about three years now. She is great. If I need a specialist she recommends one and gets all the reports so she knows every thing about me. The wife also sees her. Some times I think they are colaberating on me. The wife tells her every thing I eat that she thinks I shouldn't eat. LOL

Dr. Morgan is not a Dermatologist. are you looking for a skin doctor or an internist?

Right, she's a GP and quite a good one, but I'm afraid she falls way short on dermatology issues (if that's what OP needs as he mentioned Dr Siri) and will simply refer you to a dermatologist, so you double up on visits.

I didn't realize he was looking for a dermatologist. That kind of explains your earlier post about all the girls. LOL.

I do feel how ever that it is good to have one doctor with all the reports from specialists. At least that way you narrow down the chances of taking medications that you should not be taking with another one.

When I was back in Canada I went to see the Doctor to get two prescriptions renewed that are free to me there. I took a list of what I was taking here and the doctor said no I should not take Celebrex and Ibuprofen when taking Befarin. Had I not been prepared I would have wound up taking things that pose quite a risk to most people. I say most people as I have a stomach made of iron. Still I use the Ibuprofen very sparingly. Not always after eating either. At least I know the danger.

Right, hellodolly very interesting but but that has nothing to do with the request for the name of a Dermatologist.
