REITERATION OF WARNING

Do not use any agency to sort your visa out and do not pay any agency any fee - the embassy is well clued up on this and qucikly notice if that route has been taken.

Remember - its the same bunch of Thais and ex-pat workers at the embassy who process visa applications day in day out - they recognise a "questionable" application from a genuine one in a flash - and the idea that they can be conned is wishful thinking, and any application submitted through an agency is an aplication that will attract attention (i.e. why was an agency used or paid)

And yes - the British embassy actively carries out due dilligence to check any visa application statement/claim they are uncertain about - they employ Thai staff to conduct discrete enquiries who know every trick in the book.

The best application is an application filled out and submitted by the applicant.

Tim

You are not wrong the agency we are using are a pain in the butt had I been a bit more forward thinking I would have sorted out the application in person during my last leave the agency keep replying to my e-mail that they have not recieved various documents and asking for stupid things, for instance my daughters passport (every page) and proof of her ownership of her home because I told them that we would be staying with her some of the time. I keep informing them that it is a hiliday and we will only be staying three weeks at various locations so that my girlfriend can see as much of the UK as possible it seem that they are trying to justify thier fee.

I have told them to get on with it and if the visa is refused I will make the application in person. Just wish I had your advice before I started the process

Would that be Atlas Taname?

Well done, Zink. If you don't mind me saying, considering you're a brief you made hard work of it.

Zink thats great news. We have had quite a few refusals lately so its nice to hear of some successes. Considering everything , i think you have addressed the issues and got the visa in just about the quickest time you could have done after the first refusal. So well done !!

Yes thanks for your good wishes.

I could not believe how quick they agreed it I was thinking they had rejected me and Id already started researching JRing the decision!!

I spent 2 weeks studying the full rules and considering mine and others rejections

I then put professional lever arch organised dossier together of every scrap of presentable evidence

I even made a video showing all my holidays on a cd no longer than 10 mins long

It still was not perfect application as I could not wholley overcome my girlfriends economic circumstances or letter of a job on her return

I should of done the prep first time and I accept the point I should of known better but sometimes you need a good kick.

All the best
