Shop selling quality music keyboards?

Featured Replies

Looking to buy a keyboard with MIDI or better capability. Not the 2000 Baht kind you see at the markets. Could someone recommend a store in Chiang Mai please.

There is a guitar shop with a companion audio production shop on Chang klan road a few Kms south of the night bazzar on the east side of the road.

Btw they have midi/usb keyboards, but if your after something a bit more advanced, you might be better looking at going to Bangkok.

I forgot, there is another place a bit further south on Chang klan called maximum sound. I think I got my axiom 25 there.

I was wondering, with these Axiom controllers, do they have any internal sounds at all, or is there any way to get a sound from them by for example plugging in a USB that has sound some sound banks?

Reason I ask is because it would be nice to be able to use the controller independently of a computer device (as a matter of convenience) when I'm travelling around, or sitting on the sofa and just want to improvise or write something.

They are a controller only, midi and usb, so you need at least to connect a midi sound module (midi) or computer (usb) to make noise.

What size/number of keys are you looking for? I have an 88 note Yamaha digital piano that has its own amp and speakers. Granted, the speakers are for monitor use, but they sound great in an average room at home. It also is midi and also has a lot of sounds other than piano and you could also add a sound module to get even more sounds.

I don't know if they make them like that in the smaller versions.
