Where can I buy a shower filter in CM?

Is there any place in CM or Thailand that I can buy or order a quality shower filter? Have anyone experience a chlorine smelling water from the water table. The house I am moving in is just now converting to using the Thai public water grid. The owner saids that they presently pump water from a "well." So it is well water. This water seems to have a chemical smell. Has anyone ever come across this before. ?

Home pro has a range of filters on display. The cartridge is inside a clear plastic holder, so you can see if there is a build up of dirt.

In the case of chemical smells, I believe they also have one with a carbon insert.

I'm not troubled by chemical smells with the water we're getting in Suthep, but there are a lot of charcoal particles from their water purifying process, which block tap and shower outlets.

There's some good information on different types of filters if you do a Google search.

The triple filters masuk refers is the one for drinking water and unless you have a pump then the water flow and hence pressure is low.

Not what you need for shower which needs presssure to keep up the flow.

It sounds like its hearsay at the moment so experience it for yourself.

Filtering smells though seems like it needs to be done at source.

Correction: who mentioned a triple filter? These are mainly used for drinking water with impurities to be removed.

The single type I've used on the farm and will probably install here is attached. Yes, it might reduce the flow somewhat, and I had a pump supplying the rain water to the house.

There are many types of filters which can be fitted internally, from coarse to keep out the gravel to charcoal for removing smells.

A clear type can also be used so you can make a visual check on debris.

When I first moved to Hang Dong, at certian times the city water had such a chlorine odor that it burned my eyes. On well water now and love it. The government pays a guy to come and clean it once a year. When he finishes I will pour about 1/2 litre of uncented bleach in as the well refills. The iron in the water reacts with the bleach and turns the water dark for about a week. I cook with this water but do not drink it.
