Seeking Barber Skilled In Trimming A Beard

Featured Replies

I know, Thais don't grow beards & thus a quality, scissor-cut beard trim may be hard to find. Beard trims with an electric trimmer and numbered plastic guard don't work well with this man's beard. Does anyone have experience with a good barber who can actually trim with scissors? Thanks, indeed!

I havd one pull me out of the chair 2 times tring to shave a goatee. I left with the job half done.

I wouldn`t recommend it.

Thai barbers have no experience of trimming beards or giving shaves, except for very close one`s.

Some years ago I asked my barber if he could give me a shave. No problem he said. About 3 minutes into the shave with his cut-throat razor he almost sliced my eye lobe off, blood everywhere. Needless to say; that was my last shave from a barber in Thailand.

My advice is; DIY or ask your wife or girlfriend to trim your beard for you, unless you like to live dangerously that is?

Had my first shave in a Thai barbers in Phrae in March. Definitely the worst shaving experience of my life. Missed loads of bits and cut me loads of times. He said it was because farang have strong hair. Never again

Sounds like its time to get rid of it then.

Anyway, aren't beards "so last year"

Its another fashion trend that came and went in a flash.

Thankfully I can still wear my flares 40yrs after I first wore them.....no, not the same pair.
