Steel Car Ramps in Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

I am looking for some simple car ramps to use when servicing the car. Something like these: http://www.tooled-up.com/product/sealey-steel-car-ramps-2-tonne-capacity/179268/

I know I could get them made, but i'd much rather just go and buy a pair.

I have tried a few of the tool shops between Nawarat bridge and the bus station, without success.

Any ideas? All help greatly appreciated...

Too late for me to edit. I meant the road between Nawarat bridge and the train station, not the bus station. I think it's called Charoen Muang.

Wouldn't trust them if they were premade. Best to go to a welding shop and have some made. They will be heavy but they won'y fold with you under the car.

I was hoping to find strong ones pre-made. I was figuring that they would probably be locally made anyway, but I could avoid the hassle of having to sort out drawings, dimensions, etc.

Maybe i'll get some made and then start selling them, lol

I had a pair made by guy name IBUM

If interested PM me

Thanks sangphet, much appreciated, but if getting them made I can just use the guy at the top of my street. I was just trying to save the effort of communicating my plan... facepalm.gif
