What I wished I could have been, had I been older, and could have played with Bill Monroe. The avatar is a nod to my Italian heritage due to my last name. I actually met Bill Monroe at the Wembley Country Music Festival back in the eighties when I went to see my idol, the late great George Jones ( He was Tammy Wynettes third husband). He was nicknamed the Possum, and was born in 1931, hence my user name.
